Telacar is one of the pillars of the black car industry in New York City. Our current management team has been in place over 20 years. In addition, our CEO Jan Volper sits on the Board of Directors of both the Black Car Association and the Worker’s Compensation Fund.

Our fleet of over 190 sedans consists mainly of late model black Lincoln Town Cars and we cover Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx. We service a diverse account base, including corporate accounts, healthcare, and upscale private clients.

Our International Ground Transportation Network assists our customers beyond the NY Metro area. We provide domestic and international service in over 217 markets worldwide. With Telacar, we have close relationships with hand picked, pre-qualified service partners.

Telacar utilizes cutting edge technology. We have a highly sophisticated computerized dispatch system, which tracks all activity on a call from the call-taker to billing. Highlights include:

• Ability to accept calls via phone, fax or internet. All incoming calls are taped and referenced to the order if we need to play back for a customer
• Fully automated rate structure
• Ability to customize account profile to limit usage i.e stops, waiting time, no shows, time that the account can be used etc.
• Ability to capture unlimited information data fields to be used to sort an invoice or provide MIS reporting
• Ability to control call ordering to only authorized users
• Ability to invoice to numerous customer specifications via paper or electronically, along with scanned copies of all vouchers
• Ability to charge service to credit cards, either by individual trip or by total invoice
